The latest trends, new products and technical innovations are vital for business success in catering and food services. If you want to find out about the ideas, innovations and concepts to meet current challenges, and to see which way developments in the industry are going, you cannot do better than to attend INTERNORGA, held at the Hamburg Fair site from 9 to 14 March 2012. This premier exhibition for the out-of-home market features more than 1,100 exhibitors from Germany and abroad, with innovations, trends and complete solutions from the hotel, restaurant, catering, bakery and confectionery sectors.
INTERNORGA covers some 87,000 square metres of exhibition space in eleven halls, displaying an internationally unmatched range of products and services of great variety and the highest quality. The exhibition is clearly structured with “Food and beverages”, “Organisation and communication”, “Technical and environment”, “Furnishings and fittings” and “Bakery and confectionery, shop fitting”, covering the whole bandwidth of the out-of-home market under one roof. Nearly all the leading companies will be exhibiting in Hamburg, and many will celebrate their product launches at INTERNORGA.
Following the successful premiere in 2011, Hamburg Messe und Congress GmbH will present the INTERNORGA Future Award again in 2012. This award honours products, services, applications or strategies which are uniquely characterised by their sustainable approach. INTERNORGA is thus highlighting issues which are of key importance both for business and for society as a whole.
INTERNORGA is not only an innovation showcase and trend barometer. It also plays a major part in the out-of-home market as an international contact exchange. That is due not least to its first-class supporting programme with specialist conferences. Such as the 31st International Foodservice Forum, where leading speakers from Germany and abroad present fresh ideas and innovative concepts. This is Europe’s biggest professional food service and catering conference, with some 1,500 participants from all parts of the world. The German Congress for Institutional Catering will also attract the industry experts. Other main attractions are the Foodservice Forum and a range of demonstrations and competitions such as the “Chefs’ Grand Prix” – the young cooks’ competition with the highest prize money in Germany.
INTERNORGA, 86th International Trade Show for the Hotel, Restaurant, Catering, Baking and Confectionery Industry, will be held at the Hamburg Fair site from 9 to 14 March, open daily from 10:00 to 18:00 hours. The admission charge is EUR 28 (2-day ticket EUR 38), concession for students in this sector: EUR 14. Admission subject to proof of bona fide trade status.
