Volpak has provided a complete line to a large multinational company operating in the Asian market, to manufacture an innovative and very handy pouch for candies, featuring both a very good finishing and a practical opening system. The pouch is very functional indeed, giving you the chance of open it, use its content and close the package according to your convenience. The line is made putting together three different machines: SP-90, Pak 1312 and Daina 200.
The first machine is the SP-90 with weight control, a model which has been developed to offer high productions rates, manufacturing flat pouches with zipper, capable of achieving a speed up to 280 packages per minute. It’s a compact model, featuring the individual adjustment for each envelope’s forming, which ensures a very good quality finish. The zipper applicator is available to work with the press-to-close or the Velcro® type system. The direct weight control is compact, designed to greatly optimize the line’s space. Once the envelopes are sealed, the transfer machine leaves them directly on the static weight controller. Another pick&place system gets the envelopes out of the weighing unit and leaves them directly in the grouping-counter or in the laminating-vibrating belt as appropriate.
The second machine is the Pak 1312, part of the “Pak” series, designed to cartoning envelopes. Ideal for candy projects, it allows grouping the envelopes in rows, arranging them verticallyina displaycase that can be exposed directly on the shelf.
