Emerson Industrial Automation has lauched a new range of complete drives and motors packages targeted specifically at fan, pump and compressor applications.
Based on extensive customer feedback, Emerson Industrial Automation has developed highly specialised solutions which will improve the existing energy efficiency standards available for applications which use fans, pumps or compressors, without compromising on quality.
Within each package are high 
performance, industry-specific drives and motors, engineered to complement each other. The new solutions are simple to install, straightforward to maintain, and will deliver significant energy savings and a quick return on investment.
The new Powerdrive F300 variable speed drive has been designed and engineered by Control Techniques specifically for fan, pump and compressor applications. Ideally suited to cabinet integration, Powerdrive F300 offers sensorless permanent magnet motor control, a flexible range of fan, pump and compressor features including an on-board PLC, plus a wide power rating from 1.1 KW to 2.8 MW.
Also forming part of the solution is the new Powerdrive MD2M variable speed drive from Leroy-Somer. Powerdrive MD2M is a wall-mounted drive which shares the same characteristics as Powerdrive MD2, a high power ready-to-use IP54 drive which delivers plug-and-play simplicity combined with sensorless permanent magnet motor control.
Both Powerdrive F300 and MD2M offer seamless integration with the accompanying range of Leroy-Somer motors, namely the LSRPM (IP55) and PLSRPM (IP23) super premium efficiency permanent magnet motors exceeding IE4 classification and the new IMfinity high & premium efficiency AC induction motors (IE2 & IE3).
