WILMAR CONTINENTAL INVESTS IN THE FUTURE WITH “ADHESLEEVE”, THE LINERLESS LABELLING MACHINE BY P.E. LABELLERS
In 2012 Wilmar Continental decided to invest in top contemporary technology to follow and meet increasingly demanding market requests.
Founded in 2011 as a joint venture between the leading Asian food group “Wilmar International” and “Continental Oil Mills”, one of the main edible oil manufacturers in the South African continent, today “Wilmar Continental Edible Oils And Fats” is one of the country’s main players in terms of production of sunflower oil and oil from various seeds and is based in Radfontein. The brands of the Group include Excella, Soya, Pan, Canola Oil, Excella Mayonnaise and Conti Dips.
In passing from pre-cut paper labels to roll-fed plastic labels, they addressed to the 40 year experience of P.E. LABELLERS choosing the ADHESLEEVE labelling machine which they consider the best labelling technology currently available on the market.
As much as three Adhesleeve labelling machines were ordered to apply pre-glued linerless labels on PET bottles for edible oil, both cylindrical and square ones, with a range of formats from 375 ml to 2 L with a line speed from 24,000 to 36,000 bph.
P.E. LABELLERS allowed them to implement existing lines and create new investments for new lines with what they regarded as the technology of the future: Adhesleeve Technology.
